What is Mobile Application?
A mobile application is a software application created and designed specifically so that it can be used seamlessly on small, wireless computing devices, such as smart phones and ipads, rather than desktop or laptop computers.
Mobile apps are sometimes distinguished according to whether they are web-based or native apps, which are designed and developed specifically for a given platform. A new tier i.e hybrid apps, integrates elements of both native and Web apps. As the technologies mellow, it's expected that mobile application development endeavors will concentrate on the development of browser-based, device-agnostic Web applications.
